Alex, LMHC

Hi there, I’m Alex(they/he)

In relation to the counseling room and therapeutic process I believe in Person Centered counseling. What does this mean? I’m so glad you asked, essentially think of our sessions like a bowling alley, at the end are the pins which represent your goals of therapy. You are the ball wanting to hit down your pins, and I am the bumpers on the side to make sure you stay on target. What I’m saying with this analogy is that you are in charge of how you want these sessions to go. I might offer some ideas here and there but ultimately the decision is yours. I believe you have all that you need already inside you, and it's my job to help you see that.

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time in nature, reading, and watching drag race.

Education: I have received M.A. in rehabilitation and mental health counseling from Western Oregon University. I previously completed a B.A. degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on ASL interpreting, and Humanities.

I am best for individuals who: would like support navigating life's changes, are needing guidance managing anxiety, are looking to manage symptoms of ADHD, are exploring their gender identity and sexual orientation, are unpacking religious trauma, need aid in managing PTSD symptoms, and overall anyone looking to gain a better understanding of themselves.

Telehealth Status: Only provides in person counseling services as of now.

Supervision: Alex works under the supervision of Menachem
