Drew, Identity Coach
Drew (he/they) is an Identity Coach who works with trans and queer youth and adults, parents of LGBTQ+ kids, and neurodivergent folks learning to trust themselves in a world that often tells them not to. Their coaching focuses on helping people untangle shame, reconnect with their authentic selves, and build lives rooted in clarity, self-trust, and joy.
Drew is known for their compassionate, grounded presence and their ability to meet people exactly where they are. Some clients come needing space to speak honestly for the first time, while others are navigating identity questions, family dynamics, or major life transitions. Drew is comfortable sitting in silence, asking thoughtful questions, or helping someone map out practical next steps depending on what the moment calls for.
Their work is shaped by the belief that people already hold the truth of who they are; sometimes they just need the space and support to hear it. As a trans and queer person who has navigated multiple coming-out journeys, years of therapy, and their own mental health challenges, Drew brings both empathy and lived understanding to the people they support. Their approach is also influenced by the work of Brené Brown around shame, courage, and vulnerability.
Outside of Wild Heart, Drew loves spending time with their wife and four-year-old son, visiting the coast, reading a good book, watching a true crime documentary (after kiddo’s bedtime), and curling up with one of their three cats. In true Pacific Northwest fashion, they’re always on the hunt for a great iced shaken espresso and the best gluten- and dairy-free spots around town.
