Hi, I’m Marielle (she/her). I am an LPC in Oregon and LMHC in Washington. I have been working as a therapist for 10 years after graduating from Lewis & Clark college’s counseling program in 2016. I have experience working in community mental health, high schools, and college counseling. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults across the lifespan, with a focus on older adolescents and young adults. My approach to therapy is strengths-based and collaborative, and includes awareness around how social contexts shape our experiences. I believe therapy works when clients feel heard, understood and valued. I especially enjoy focusing on identity exploration, including intersecting identities. I love working with LGBTQ+ clients, and am queer myself. Other areas of experience and interest include OCD, ADHD & executive functioning, Autism, rumination, relational concerns, burn out recovery, chronic health conditions and using harm reduction approaches to substance use and other high risk behaviors. I find values exploration and mindful self-compassion to be helpful with many clients, and often integrate them into our work together when appropriate. My therapeutic style draws from a number of approaches, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Exposure Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Motivational Interviewing.
In my free time, I love spending time in nature, reading, seeing live music, making art, participating in Jewish community events, and hanging out with my pet mouse.

I am best for people who: Want a space to explore identity, want to figure out if they may be neurodivergent, want support around executive functioning, rumination, relational patterns, and self-criticism/shame, are managing chronic health conditions, want to have a healthier relationship with substance use.
